Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI ethics governance frameworks for 2026-era autonomous systems
- Lead cross-functional audits of algorithmic bias and fairness across ML pipelines
- Develop proactive compliance strategies for evolving AI regulations (EU AI Act, US AI Bill of Rights)
- Partner with quantum AI teams to address ethical implications of computational breakthroughs
- Create ethics-by-design protocols for generative AI and neuromorphic computing systems
- Represent Nexus at international AI ethics summits and standards bodies
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years AI governance experience
- Proven track record developing ethics frameworks for autonomous systems or LLMs
- Deep expertise in global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Published research on algorithmic bias mitigation or value alignment
- Experience leading ethics initiatives at Fortune 500 tech companies
- Certification in AI ethics (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design)
- Strong background in quantum computing ethics or neurosymbolic AI
