Responsibilities
- Lead R&D initiatives for 2026-era technologies including quantum AI integration and neural interfaces
- Architect scalable solutions for autonomous systems and decentralized networks
- Drive innovation sprints with cross-functional teams in biotech, space tech, and climate tech
- Mentor engineers in emerging development paradigms and ethical AI frameworks
- Publish thought leadership on future tech trends in IEEE and Nature journals
- Secure $10M+ in grants for forward-looking research projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science or Engineering with 5+ years in quantum/AI research
- Proven track record shipping production-level systems in emerging tech domains
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology, or orbital infrastructure
- Published research in top-tier journals/conferences (NeurIPS, Science, etc.)
- Experience leading technical teams of 10+ engineers across global timezones
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks for next-gen technologies
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ breakthrough innovations implemented at scale
