Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with long-term business goals
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) with commercial potential
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling futuristic solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Present technology roadmaps and investment proposals to C-suite executives and board members
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory shifts affecting future innovation landscapes
- Mentor junior strategists and cultivate a culture of forward-thinking innovation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- Minimum 8 years experience in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of these domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or sustainable tech
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Experience presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and innovation communities
- Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with minimal supervision
