Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies including quantum computing, biotech convergence, and autonomous systems
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive trends and paradigm shifts affecting 2026-2030 market landscapes
- Lead scenario planning workshops with C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Author predictive intelligence reports on geopolitical, economic, and technological inflection points
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academic researchers, and industry pioneers
- Present strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors and investor communities
- Oversee cross-functional innovation sprints focused on 2026-readiness initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, futures research, or technology innovation consulting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related quantitative discipline
- Proven track record of developing multi-year strategic frameworks for Fortune 500 clients
- Expertise in scenario modeling, predictive analytics, and trend extrapolation methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to executive audiences and investor forums
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry white papers
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or similar credential preferred
