Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI) to identify disruptive opportunities through 2026
- Develop and implement 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with UN SDGs and market evolution
- Lead cross-functional labs in prototyping next-generation solutions (AR/VR interfaces, carbon capture tech)
- Collaborate with Stanford/MIT research teams on joint future-forward initiatives
- Present strategic foresight reports to C-suite and board stakeholders quarterly
- Mentor innovation fellows in futurist methodologies and ethical tech development
- Secure partnerships with NASA, Tesla, and other frontier organizations
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience with 10+ years in innovation leadership
- Published research on technological singularity or exponential change scenarios
- Proven track record of scaling breakthrough technologies from concept to market
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, biotech convergence, and climate tech
- Fluency in futurist frameworks (STEEP, Delphi, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ paradigm-shifting innovations launched since 2020
