Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate tech
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for 5-10 year planning cycles
- Produce scenario-based risk assessments and opportunity roadmaps
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with R&D, marketing, and product teams
- Present executive-level insights to drive data-backed strategic decisions
- Build and maintain an external innovation ecosystem through partnerships
- Author thought leadership content positioning Horizon as a future-ready leader
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend impact analysis
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience with futures research methodologies (Delphi, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful long-term strategy implementations
