Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 Technology Horizon Scan identifying emerging paradigms in quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neural interfaces
- Design strategic innovation roadmaps with 3-5 year implementation timelines for exponential technology adoption
- Lead cross-functional Future Labs to prototype breakthrough solutions in VR/AR, climate tech, and decentralized systems
- Deliver executive briefings on disruption risks and market opportunities using scenario modeling and predictive analytics
- Establish strategic partnerships
- Drive organizational foresight through trend workshops and innovation sprints with 200+ employees
- Author annual Future State Reports with data-driven forecasts on workforce evolution and market dynamics
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech companies
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, neurotech)
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Technology Strategy, or Innovation Management (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in Harvard Business Review, MIT Tech Review, or similar tiered publications
- Experience with scenario planning and disruption forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Track record of scaling innovation programs with measurable ROI ($10M+ initiatives)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from foresight.org or similar)
