Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to map innovation horizons for 2026-2030
- Design and execute strategic foresight initiatives including scenario planning and trend workshops
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype breakthrough solutions for next-generation markets
- Develop patentable frameworks and intellectual property positioning FutureWorks as a thought leader
- Present future-state roadmaps to executive stakeholders and external partners
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of industry futurists, academics, and venture partners
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Innovation, Foresight, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in strategic innovation, product development, or futures research
- Proven track record of developing commercialized future-tech solutions
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, AR/VR, sustainable tech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Certification in Futures Studies (e.g., Association of Professional Futurists)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight frameworks or trend analyses
