Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market trends and societal shifts
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI, and biotechnology
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Partner with VPs to translate innovation strategy into actionable business plans
- Drive patent development and intellectual property protection for breakthrough technologies
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of radical innovation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years in tech innovation or strategic consulting with Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record in developing technology roadmaps for 2025+ initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from Futures School or similar)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and global innovation ecosystems
