Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for quantum computing, synthetic biology, and AI ethics frameworks
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with 5+ year commercialization potential
- Architect strategic partnerships with NASA, MIT, and global climate innovation labs
- Present future-vision scenarios to C-suite executives and government innovation councils
- Manage $2M+ innovation budgets for prototyping 2026-viable solutions
- Mentor cross-functional teams in futures-thinking methodologies and systems innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or emerging technology leadership
- Proven track record developing 5+ year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AI ethics, or climate tech
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futures studies or technology journals
- PhD or Master's in Futures Studies, Systems Innovation, or equivalent technical discipline
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) or EU Horizon funding
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Causal Layered Analysis)
