Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AI, quantum, IoT)
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies and market disruptions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage innovation portfolio with $5M+ annual R&D budget
- Foster startup partnerships and ecosystem collaborations
- Drive sustainable technology initiatives aligned with ESG goals
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or tech consulting
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products (3+ case studies)
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, blockchain)
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing R&D budgets >$3M
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite/board
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Certified Innovation Professional (CIP) or equivalent preferred
