Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum circuit architectures for 1000+ qubit systems
- Develop error correction protocols enabling fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm optimization
- Partner with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors
- Create quantum computing roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological milestones
- Secure $10M+ in research grants and strategic partnerships
- Mentor quantum engineers and publish peer-reviewed research
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum algorithms or hardware architectures
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in Nature/Science or top-tier conferences
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum assembly languages
- Experience leading quantum computing projects with commercial impact
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and cryogenic systems
