Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies and market shifts impacting 2026
- Develop comprehensive future scenarios and strategic roadmaps for 5-10 year planning cycles
- Design and execute foresight methodologies including Delphi studies, expert panels, and trend workshops
- Partner with product teams to integrate future insights into innovation pipelines and R&D priorities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members with compelling data visualizations
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Author thought leadership publications and white papers on future technology paradigms
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Expertise in foresight methodologies including scenario planning, weak signal detection, and backcasting
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, climate tech)
- Exceptional analytical and synthesis skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Strong presentation skills with experience communicating to executive audiences
