Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological, economic, and societal shifts
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype next-generation solutions aligned with future market needs
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Author thought leadership publications and industry white papers
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning with technology foresight experience
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum, AI, biotech, or sustainable tech
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial strategies
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience presenting to executive audiences across Fortune 500 companies
- Published author or recognized speaker in futurism/technology trends
- Proficiency in strategic forecasting tools (e.g., Delphi, cross-impact matrix)
