Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap using horizon-scanning methodologies
- Lead strategic partnerships with tech pioneers and academic research institutions
- Translate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech) into client solutions
- Present future-state scenarios to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation specialists
- Author thought leadership pieces for industry publications
- Oversee $15M+ innovation portfolio budget allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough technologies to market
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Experience presenting to executive audiences across multiple industries
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (blockchain, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in innovation or strategy publications
- Fluency in at least one additional language preferred
