Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 5-year technology strategy aligning with 2026 societal and market forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum algorithms, neural interfaces, climate AI)
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks to forecast emerging tech disruptions
- Create innovation frameworks for ethical tech deployment and responsible AI governance
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Drive R&D investments in exponential technologies (nanotech, synthetic biology, Web4.0)
- Mentor junior futurists through innovation sprints and scenario-planning workshops
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record in emerging tech adoption (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research or thought leadership on post-2025 technology trends
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology impact assessment
- Experience with exponential technology roadmapping (Singularity Institute, Foresight Institute)
- Strong network with tech innovators and policy influencers
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Forecasting preferred
