Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead research in emerging tech fields (quantum computing, biotech interfaces, AI ethics)
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-focused solutions into current offerings
- Present strategic briefings to stakeholders on technology adoption timelines
- Build and manage a global network of futurist researchers and industry pioneers
- Drive innovation sprints focused on solving 2026-specific challenges
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting long-term tech strategy
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends (published research preferred)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, IoT, blockchain, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Strong executive communication skills with C-suite experience
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-tech implementation
- Certification in Technology Foresight or equivalent
