Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 industry projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum, AR/VR, bio-integrated systems)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year adoption windows
- Advise executive leadership on technology investments and risk mitigation strategies
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology trends and societal impacts
- Manage innovation pipeline with stage-gate processes for emerging tech adoption
- Represent company at global tech summits and shape industry standards
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of launching products with 3+ year market forecasting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published author in peer-reviewed tech journals or industry white papers
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Experience with scenario planning tools and technology adoption lifecycle models
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, R, or similar) for trend analysis
