Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic, AGI) and develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps
- Architect cross-disciplinary innovation frameworks integrating IoT, blockchain, and climate tech ecosystems
- Direct future-state scenario planning for autonomous systems and human augmentation technologies
- Chair the 2026 Technology Council with C-suite executives to align R&D with market evolution
- Develop patent portfolios and intellectual property strategies for next-gen breakthroughs
- Partner with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich) on future-focused research initiatives
- Present technological foresight briefings to investors, regulators, and industry consortiums
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurism with 8+ years in strategic tech planning
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (3+ successful launches)
- Deep expertise in exponential technology curves and paradigm shift analysis
- Experience with futures research methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning, scenario planning)
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or similar tier-1 publications
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python/Java) and quantum computing frameworks
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management preferred
