Responsibilities
- Manage incoming correspondence, emails, and phone calls with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Prepare and maintain accurate, up-to-date records and databases for departmental operations.
- Assist in the coordination of meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports in accordance with city financial regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to the public, vendors, and fellow employees.
- Perform data entry tasks and generate reports as requested by supervisors.
- Support special projects and ad-hoc administrative initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience in a government or corporate setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
