Responsibilities
- Provide front-desk reception and direct visitors/callers to appropriate departments
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate digital records using municipal systems
- Assist with document preparation, filing, and records management
- Support departmental meetings by scheduling, preparing materials, and taking minutes
- Process routine permits, applications, and public inquiries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects
- Adhere to all city protocols and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to learn new software systems quickly
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license (preferred)
