Responsibilities
- Manage high volumes of incoming communications, including phone calls, emails, and mail, ensuring accurate and timely responses.
- Perform data entry and maintain precise electronic and manual records for sensitive government files.
- Assist the public by providing clear information regarding agency programs, policies, and application procedures.
- Prepare and distribute internal memos, reports, and correspondence using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Coordinate scheduling for departmental leadership and prepare meeting agendas and minutes.
- Maintain the reception area and office supplies to ensure a professional environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Public Administration or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience in a government, public sector, or customer service environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic computer applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adhere to strict confidentiality protocols.
