Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit applications and documentation with precision
- Manage scheduling and correspondence for veteran services team
- Maintain confidential records in compliance with federal regulations
- Coordinate multi-departmental communication and reporting
- Assist in data entry and record-keeping using VA systems
- Provide exceptional customer service to veterans and stakeholders
- Support event coordination for veteran outreach programs
Qualifications
- US citizenship required (federal mandate)
- Minimum 1 year administrative support experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to pass federal background investigation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with federal record-keeping protocols preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work 20-30 hours weekly with flexible scheduling
