- Lead cross-functional ethics committees with engineering, legal, and product teams
- Establish transparency protocols for high-stakes AI decision-making processes
- Partner with government agencies on national AI ethics standards development
- Design impact assessments for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI)
- Train 200+ employees on responsible AI deployment practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (Master's with exceptional experience)
- 7+ years in AI governance, policy development, or ethics compliance
- Deep expertise in EU AI Act, NIST AI Risk Framework, and emerging global regulations
- Published research on algorithmic fairness or explainable AI (XAI)
- Certification in AI ethics (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design)
- Experience with bias detection tools (IBM AI Fairness 360, Google What-If Tool)
- Proven track record influencing corporate AI strategy at executive level
