Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-enhanced machine learning models for 2026-era computational challenges
- Lead cross-functional research on generative AI systems with multimodal reasoning capabilities
- Develop novel algorithms for explainable AI and ethical decision frameworks
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize AI for quantum computing architectures
- Publish research in top-tier journals (NeurIPS, Science, Nature AI)
- Mentor junior researchers and PhD interns from partner institutions
- Secure $2M+ in government/industry grants for 2026 research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, or related field with 3+ years industry research experience
- Expertise in quantum machine learning or neuromorphic computing architectures
- Published 15+ peer-reviewed papers at premier AI conferences
- Proficiency in PyTorch/TensorFlow with quantum computing frameworks (Cirq, Qiskit)
- Experience securing NSF/DARPA grants for forward-looking research
- Strong background in ethical AI frameworks and bias mitigation
- Track record of translating research into production AI systems
