Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility, including transferring them to and from beds or wheelchairs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and physicians regarding patient conditions and changes in status.
- Administer medications as directed by the charge nurse.
Qualifications
- Certificate of Completion for CNA (State of Florida approved).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or medical setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients safely (up to 50 lbs).
- Reliable transportation.
