Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages along an assigned route in a timely and accurate manner.
- Sort and organize mail before the start of the delivery day.
- Interact professionally with customers, answer inquiries, and handle packages with care.
- Operate a delivery vehicle (mail truck) safely and adhere to all traffic laws.
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance, including uniform compliance.
- Collect and process postage-due mail and fees.
- Follow all USPS safety protocols to ensure personal and public safety.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Valid Driver's License (Class B CDL is preferred but not always required for entry-level CCA positions).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly.
- Good vision and physical fitness to handle the demands of the job.
- Basic computer literacy for logging work hours.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
