Responsibilities

  • Record Management: Manage and maintain official city records, including meeting minutes, ordinances, resolutions, and municipal codes with the highest level of accuracy.
  • Meeting Support: Prepare, distribute, and archive meeting agendas, packets, and minutes for City Commission and Committee meetings.
  • Public Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for the public, answering inquiries regarding city procedures, codes, and meeting schedules with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Correspondence: Draft, proofread, and distribute correspondence, reports, and official documents on behalf of the Clerk and City leadership.
  • Records Requests: Process and respond to public records requests in compliance with Florida Sunshine Laws and municipal policies.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree or Certificate in Paralegal Studies, Public Administration, or Business is preferred.
