Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain official city records, ordinances, and council minutes
- Oversee municipal elections and voter registration processes
- Provide administrative support to City Council meetings and public hearings
- Ensure compliance with open records laws and Sunshine Act requirements
- Coordinate public records requests and document certification
- Administer oaths of office and public notary services
- Develop and implement records management systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of municipal clerk or records management experience
- Colorado Notary Public certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Proficiency in municipal software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of Colorado open records laws
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
