Responsibilities
- Manage and preserve official city records, ordinances, and meeting minutes with meticulous attention to detail
- Administer public records requests and ensure compliance with Florida Sunshine Laws
- Coordinate municipal elections, voter registration, and related civic engagement initiatives
- Oversee city council meeting logistics including agenda preparation and documentation
- Maintain municipal charter updates and legal compliance documentation
- Lead public records digitization and records management modernization projects
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of municipal records management or public sector experience
- Proficiency with records management software (e.g., Laserfiche, OnBase)
- Deep understanding of Florida Sunshine Laws and municipal governance protocols
- Exceptional written communication skills for drafting official documents
- Valid Florida Notary Public commission or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and integrity
