Responsibilities

  • Records Management: Oversee the creation, retention, and preservation of all City Council minutes, ordinances, resolutions, and legal documents in accordance with the Texas State Library and Archives Commission standards.
  • Meeting Coordination: Plan, organize, and execute regular City Council meetings, including preparing agendas, distributing informational packets, and maintaining accurate, legally compliant minutes.
  • Public Information: Serve as the primary point of contact for public records requests, ensuring full compliance with the Texas Open Records Act (TORA) while protecting confidential information.
