- Oversee accurate maintenance and certification of all official city records, ordinances, and minutes
- Manage election logistics including ballot preparation, polling place coordination, and voter registration
- Administer oaths of office and public record requests with strict compliance protocols
- Coordinate legislative agendas, public hearings, and council meeting documentation
- Serve as custodian of city seal and official documents with stringent security protocols
- Implement records retention policies aligned with Kentucky Revised Statutes
- Lead public information dissemination through digital and physical channels
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 5 years municipal clerk or equivalent government records experience
- Expertise in Kentucky election law and KRS Chapter 61A compliance
- Advanced proficiency in document management systems (e.g., Laserfiche, DocuWare)
- Notary Public certification required
