As a key member of our engineering division, you will lead technical studies, manage project budgets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality municipal projects on time and within scope.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the design, construction, and renovation of park facilities, trails, and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare detailed engineering plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal codes and regulations.
- Oversee contract administration, including contractor selection, monitoring, and payment verification.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate with community stakeholders, neighborhood associations, and other city departments.
- Perform hydraulic and hydrologic analysis for stormwater management systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional engineering experience in municipal or public sector projects.
- Valid Texas Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as project schedules require.
