Responsibilities
- Customer Support: Handle incoming enquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions with professionalism and empathy.
- Information Management: Process and update client records and data entry with the highest level of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Case Administration: Assist in the preparation and processing of documentation for government benefit claims and applications.
- Service Delivery: Direct clients to the appropriate resources and ensure they understand the procedures required.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to meet daily targets and improve departmental efficiency.
- Compliance: Adhere to strict government protocols, data protection policies, and health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a customer service, administrative, or public sector role is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
- IT Proficiency: Competent in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and standard government IT systems.
- Attributes: High level of integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
