Responsibilities
- Process and file legal documents including petitions, motions, and court orders with meticulous attention to detail
- Manage court calendars, schedule hearings, and maintain accurate docket records
- Provide exceptional customer service to attorneys, litigants, and the public regarding court procedures and case status
- Prepare official court correspondence, notices, and transcripts following judicial standards
- Assist judges and court staff with administrative tasks and evidence management
- Maintain confidential case files in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Operate court technology systems including e-filing platforms and case management software
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in paralegal studies or criminal justice preferred
- Minimum 2 years of clerical or legal administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and court-specific software
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
