Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for security threats using SIEM tools
- Incident response coordination during cyber attacks and data breaches
- Develop and implement security policies and compliance frameworks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with federal agencies on threat intelligence sharing
- Document security incidents and prepare executive reports
- Train staff on cybersecurity best practices and protocols
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years experience in network security or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, ArcSight)
