Responsibilities
- Process vehicle registrations, title transfers, and driver's license applications with 99% accuracy
- Resolve complex customer inquiries regarding DMV regulations, fees, and documentation requirements
- Utilize state-of-the-art DMV software systems to process transactions efficiently
- Provide multilingual support (English, Hawaiian, Japanese, Tagalog) to diverse clientele
- Train new hires on DMV procedures and customer service protocols
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies on compliance documentation
- Maintain secure handling of sensitive customer documents and payment processing
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in high-volume transaction environments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with DMV software systems
- Valid Hawaii driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass federal background check and fingerprint clearance
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to regulatory compliance
- Fluency in English and at least one additional language preferred
- Ability to work rotating weekends and occasional overtime during peak seasons
- Associates degree in Public Administration or related field preferred
