Responsibilities
- Manage incoming inquiries via phone, email, and in-person requests with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using county database systems.
- Prepare, organize, and file a variety of documents and reports in accordance with established protocols.
- Assist senior staff with scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and preparing meeting materials.
- Process applications and documentation for various county programs and initiatives.
- Assist in the maintenance of office supplies and inventory management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse populations.
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening as a condition of employment.
- Valid California driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle is a plus.
