Responsibilities
- Perform General Office Duties: Process incoming mail, answer phones, and greet visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Data Management: Accurately input, update, and maintain records in departmental databases and filing systems.
- Document Preparation: Prepare, proofread, and distribute correspondence, reports, and memos using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Customer Service: Assist the public and internal staff with inquiries regarding department services, forms, and procedures.
- Inventory Control: Assist in tracking office supplies and equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Special Projects: Support senior staff with ad-hoc projects and administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided for qualified candidates.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer navigation.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records with high precision.
- Reliability: Ability to work full-time hours, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
