Responsibilities
- Manage incoming inquiries from the public via telephone and in-person, providing accurate information regarding state services.
- Perform data entry and filing of official state documents and records with high attention to detail.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and correspondence using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Maintain an organized office environment, including sorting mail and managing inventory.
- Support senior staff with various administrative tasks to ensure departmental efficiency.
- Attend mandatory training sessions to understand state policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous clerical or customer service experience is a plus, but not required for entry-level candidates.
- Proficiency in basic computer operations and Microsoft Word/Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
