Responsibilities
- Manage High-Volume Inquiries: Respond to incoming calls, emails, and walk-in visitors regarding agency programs and services with patience and professionalism.
- Data Entry & Documentation: Accurately input and update client information into the statewide database to ensure proper record-keeping.
- Issue Resolution: Assist the public in navigating complex state forms and provide referrals to appropriate resources or departments.
- Customer Assistance: Provide general information regarding eligibility requirements for various social service programs.
- Maintain Records: File documents and maintain organized office spaces to ensure efficient workflow operations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members to resolve complex cases and improve service delivery.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associateās degree or equivalent work experience is a plus.
- Experience: No prior professional experience required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Skills: Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite) and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
- Attitude: A strong customer-service orientation and a commitment to confidentiality and integrity.
- Availability: Ability to work a standard full-time schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends as required.
