Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Manage incoming correspondence, process applications, and maintain accurate digital and physical records for federal departments.
- Customer Service: Serve as the first point of contact for constituents and agency visitors, providing courteous and accurate information regarding federal programs.
- Data Management: Utilize government databases to input, verify, and analyze data, ensuring strict adherence to confidentiality and security protocols.
- Document Preparation: Draft, proofread, and format official government documents, memos, and reports.
- Compliance Assistance: Support the team in ensuring all processes comply with federal regulations, safety standards, and agency policies.
- Meeting Coordination: Schedule and coordinate meetings for agency leadership, including logistics, agenda preparation, and minute-taking.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen or eligible for U.S. Citizenship.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Experience: No prior professional experience required; entry-level candidates with strong academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with government software systems is highly desirable.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
