Responsibilities
- Support implementation of federal conservation programs and land management initiatives
- Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting for environmental compliance
- Coordinate stakeholder communications including public inquiries and agency correspondence
- Perform administrative tasks including record maintenance, document preparation, and filing systems
- Participate in cross-functional projects supporting natural resource management
- Contribute to outreach efforts promoting public lands education and engagement
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with federal regulations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship (required for federal positions)
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- Ability to pass federal background investigation and security clearance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment with diverse stakeholders
- Basic knowledge of environmental regulations or public lands management preferred
- Valid New Mexico driver's license may be required for field duties
