Responsibilities
- Provide Front-Line Assistance: Greet visitors and answer incoming calls to direct them to the appropriate department or staff member.
- Record Management: File, organize, and maintain accurate records and documents in both physical and digital systems.
- Data Entry: Enter and update information into government databases with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Public Service: Assist citizens with basic inquiries regarding city services, forms, and procedures.
- Office Support: Perform routine clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and preparing correspondence.
- Compliance: Ensure all office activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Additional certification in office administration is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience: No prior work experience required. We value attitude and willingness to learn over experience.
- Skills: Basic computer proficiency and typing skills (25+ WPM) are preferred; we will train the right candidate.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with the public and staff.
