Responsibilities
- Provide Front Desk Support: Greet visitors and residents with a professional demeanor, answer phones, and direct inquiries to the appropriate departments.
- Data Management: Accurately input, update, and maintain electronic and physical records in our government databases.
- Administrative Tasks: Prepare correspondence, memos, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Customer Service: Assist the public with inquiries regarding city services, permits, and policies in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Record Filing: Organize and file various documents, including blueprints, permits, and legal records, ensuring easy retrieval.
- Mail Processing: Sort, distribute, and prepare incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Meeting Support: Schedule meetings, take minutes, and set up conference rooms for departmental meetings.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: No prior work experience is required; we provide full training.
- Skills: Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and typing skills are preferred but not mandatory.
