Responsibilities
- Process pension enrollment applications for state employees with meticulous accuracy
- Assist retirees with benefit calculations, distribution options, and documentation
- Contribute to compliance reporting for ERISA and state retirement regulations
- Support annual pension plan audits by preparing documentation and data
- Respond to employee inquiries via phone, email, and in-person appointments
- Collaborate with HR and finance departments on pension-related matters
- Maintain secure digital and physical records for pension participants
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Zero years of experience required – we train all new hires
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel required)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Valid U.S. work authorization and ability to pass background check
