Responsibilities
- System Support: Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for federal hardware and software systems.
- Cybersecurity: Assist in maintaining compliance with federal cybersecurity standards (NIST) and protecting sensitive data.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and incident reports.
- Network Maintenance: Perform routine checks on local area networks (LAN) and wireless systems.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers to implement IT solutions and upgrades.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, OR 1 year of related experience.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance (US Citizenship required).
- Tech Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and understanding of operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with government stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical issues under pressure.
