Responsibilities
- Technical Support: Provide essential IT support to federal employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- System Administration: Assist in maintaining local area networks and ensuring data integrity across government systems.
- Data Entry: Accurately input and maintain sensitive federal records and databases.
- Network Security: Help enforce security protocols and monitor system logs for anomalies.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal IT inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Documentation: Update technical documentation and standard operating procedures as required.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED. Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus but not mandatory.
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic knowledge of Windows operating systems.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
