Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and in-person.
- Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and inventory management of IT assets.
- Assist users with password resets, account access, and software installations.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in the helpdesk ticketing system.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to resolve complex technical problems.
- Conduct basic hardware troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office Suite is required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on user satisfaction.
- Reliable transportation and ability to work occasional off-site support.
- Willingness to obtain necessary state security clearances.
