Responsibilities
- Conduct field inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with state environmental regulations
- Analyze environmental data and prepare comprehensive technical reports for regulatory decision-making
- Develop and implement pollution prevention programs for industrial and municipal facilities
- Provide expert guidance to local governments and businesses on environmental compliance best practices
- Lead community outreach initiatives and public education campaigns on environmental stewardship
- Collaborate with federal agencies on cross-jurisdictional environmental protection projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in environmental compliance or regulatory enforcement
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficiency in environmental data analysis software (e.g., GIS, statistical modeling tools)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for public reporting and stakeholder engagement
- Knowledge of EPA and ODEQ regulations (Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act)
- Ability to travel statewide for field inspections and site assessments
